Almost every hospital trust in Surrey has recorded new coronavirus patient deaths over the past week, according to the latest NHS statistics.
The total number of people who have died in hospitals run by trusts based in the county after testing positive for Covid-19 now stands at 3,466 – up from 3,458 in the previous week.
Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust and Ashford and St Peter’s NHS Foundation Trust saw the largest increase, each recording three new deaths.
