The 29-year-old woman is set to become the youngest American and first with a prosthesis to travel to space.
Arceneaux will be one of four crew members on the world’s first all-civilian mission to space, dubbed Inspiration4. The rocket Arceneaux will be on is made by Elon Musk’s SpaceX company, and is set to lift-off towards the end of 2021.
