There has been a supermarket in Redcliffs for more than 20 years, but the Four Square rebuilt after the quakes will close for good later this month.

A Christchurch coastal community will lose its main supermarket as the turnover is simply not there.
Four Square Redcliffs will shut its doors for the last time on April 24.
The decision affects 12 full-time and 9 part-time staff and means Redcliffs residents will have to travel 2.4 kilometres to SuperValue Sumner or 3.6km to Countdown Ferrymead, for their nearest supermarket.
