A top health official says any call to pause the Oxford/AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine roll-out is premature, and there is no cause for alarm or change in New Zealands plans.
On Wednesday, it was reported the Australian and New Zealand Society for Immunology called for the Australian government to immediately pause the planned roll-out of the AstraZeneca vaccine, developed in conjunction with Oxford University, because it may not be effective enough to generate herd immunity.
