Covid-19: Nine new cases of virus all in managed isolation – Stuff.co.nz

Twelve months on from the first swab, the total number of confirmed cases in New Zealand stands at 1,920.

It has been one year since the first Covid-19 test was carried out in New Zealand.
Since then, almost 1.5 million tests have been carried out in the community and at the border, the Ministry of Health said.
The Ministry noted the milestone in its Covid-19 update on Friday, when it was announced there are nine new cases of the virus to report in New Zealand, all in managed isolation.
There are currently no cases of Covid-19 in the community in New Zealand. (File photo)
