Super Rugby Trans-Tasman: Highlanders to play Rebels in Queenstown – Stuff.co.nz

Mayor Jim Boult confirms the fixture will be held on May 30 with the Queenstown Events Centre to hold ‘about 10,000’ fans.

The Highlanders will hit the road for their round three home game against the Melbourne Rebels in the Super Rugby Trans-Tasman competition, taking the fixture to Queenstown on Sunday, May 30.
The game will be played at the Queenstown Events Centre and the crowd capacity will be about 10,000, Queenstown Lakes District Council Jim Boult told Stuff on Tuesday.
The good news is that the Rebels will be flying in before the game and they are going to be based here for a week because they play the Chiefs…
