China unveils a prototype locomotive that is “likely to be the fastest of any vehicles running on Earth”.

A prototype for a train that will reach top speeds of 620kmh has been unveiled in China.
The super bullet maglev locomotive was rolled off the production line at Chengdu.
The designers say this prototype uses high-temperature superconducting (HTS) maglev technology and should be more suited to future vacuum tube or tunnel technology.
